Meet Our Founder
Shernay Williams is an independent journalist, three-time entrepreneur, and mom of two boys. After spending the first half of her career as a local TV and print news reporter, she launched a content agency in 2016 when her oldest was a one-year-old.
In 2019, she read a report that said Black women start more businesses than any other demographic but have less revenue and support. That fueled her to launch The Black Mompreneur Directory to use her years of communications experience to provide a platform for other Black mom entrepreneurs to grow.
In addition to her content agency and The Black Mompreneur, Shernay also founded Impact with Profit, a business coaching program that empowered overwhelmed entrepreneurs to tell their stories and master growth mindsets to elevate their dream businesses.
